About Mark (What about Mark?)
Mark is getting very good at writing about himself in the third person.
And I’m okay in the first person.
Design in all its permutations and specifics is about communication. Clear doesn’t always mean simple. Effective can be judged across short and long term goals.
But in the commercial space there will be goals.
An illustration, a sales sheet, a device, a TV show - they have a job to do. Often it takes a team working together to decide exactly what that job is.
I like being part of that team. I bring value beyond placing an image, or cutting an animated sequence for social media.
Because the real job, the big job, is getting it right. And that means having an understanding that transcends the platforms, media, formats and devices. With near real time analytics and a buffet of platforms there’s more opportunity than ever before to - get it wrong.
